Im Vorfeld von Konzerten erfährt man Hintergründe zu den Künstlern und Veranstaltungen, einschließlich der entsprechenden Musikbeispiele. Gelegentlich bereichern Studiogäste das Programm, meist auch mit Livemusik im Studio. Die lockere Darbietung von Friedrich Hog garantiert zuverlässige Information bei hohem Unterhaltungswert.
