Nr. 243 (Spezial), Linkin Park - Minutes To Minutes / One More Light Live

Linkin Park ist eine Band die 1996 in Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County (Kalifornien) gegründete wurde und zu den erfolgreichsten Bands des 21. Jahrhunderts zählt. Die Musik wird u.a. den Genres Electro Rock, Elektropop, Alternative Metal und Nu Metal zugeordnet. Ursprünglich wurd die Band als "Xero" gegründet, dann 1999 in "Hybrid Theory" und schließlich 1999 in "Linkin Park" umbenannt. Dieser Name geht auf den Lincoln Park in Santa Monica zurück, der tatsächlich wie "Linkin Park" ausgesprochen wird. Gründungsmitglieder waren Mark Wakefield, Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, David "Phoenix" Farrell, Joseph "Joe" Hahn und Rob Bourdon. 1999 ersetzte Chester Bennington als Sänger den Aussteiger Mark Wakefield. Das erste Album der Band war im Jahr 2000 "Hybrid Theory" mit dem die Band gleich weltweit den Durcbruch schaffte. Insgesamt wurden bis 2017 7 (erfolgreiche) Studio-Alben (sowie diverse Live-Alben) veröffentlicht. Ab 2010 mit dem 4. Album "A Thousand Suns" ist die Musik-Richtung etwas weniger von Metal, dafür mehr von Elektronik geprägt. In AAS (Spezial) spielen wir heute aus dem jahr 2007 das 3. Album der Band "Minutes To Minutes" von 2007 sowie das 7. Album der Band "One More Light" von 2017 in der Live-Version. 
Somit spielen wir Alben aus beiden Schaffens-Dekaden der Band. Nach dem Freitod von Chester Bennington im Jahr 2017 pausiert die Band aktuell.
