178- TIMNA BRAUER wurde in Österreich als Tochter des österreichischen Malers Arik Brauer und seiner, aus dem Jemen stammenden, israelischen Frau geboren. Ihre Familie wohnte in ihrer Jugend für 7 Jahre in Paris. Seit dieser Zeit hat sie eine enge Beziehung zu Paris und zu den französischen Chansons. Zu ihrer Zeit in Paris, in den 80'ern, waren die Chansons allerdings schon fast verschwunden, da die amerikanische Musik angesagt war. Aus diesem Grund entschied sie sich ein Platte mit Chansons neu zu orchestrieren und neu aufzunehmen.
