IDEAL mit Ideal

43 - IDEAL war Vorreiter und Teil der Neuen Deutschen Welle, wurde 1980 gegründet und brachte im Mai danach ihre erste Single heraus. Am 30. Mai gab Barkley James Harvest ein Free Open Air Konzert vor dem Reichstag in Berlin. IDEAL spielte dort als Vorgruppe und wurde dadurch einem Puplikum von 150000 Menschen bekannt. Im November 1980 erschien dann das heute gespielte Album "Ideal" vom Label "IC" des deutschen Elektronikers Klaus Schulze. Beim Aufnehmen des zweiten Albums erhielt IDEAL die erste Goldene Schallplatte für ihr Debüt Album. Das war auch die erste Goldene Schallplatte für eine LP eines unaghängigen Labels in Deutschland bis da hin.
Im März 1983 trennte sich IDEAL bereits wieder da die Band von Anfang an als Projekt geplant war.
