Nr. 261, The Empty Hearts - The Empty Hearts

The Empty Hearts sind eine US-Band (zu lesen ist der Begriff einer "Supergruppe") die man den Genres "Garage Rock" sowie "Rock and Roll" zurechnet. Sie wurde 2013 gegründet und besteht aus Musikern die bereits in anderern bekannten Bands erfolgreich waren und z.T. auch noch sind: Andy Babiuk (The Chesterfield Kings Bassist Andy Babiuk), Clem Burke (Blondie Drummer), Elliot Easton (The Cars Gitarrist), Wally Palmar (The Romantics Gitarrist and Sänger). Außerdem war bis zu seinem Tod im Dezember 2014 auch noch Ian McLagan (Small Faces and Faces Pianist) mit dabei. Die Band hat bisher 2 Alben (und 3 Singles) veröffentlicht. Die Alben sind "The Empty Hearts" (2014) und "The Second Album" (2020). Wir spielen in AAS heute das komplett erste Album komplett und 4 Titel aus dem aktuellen zweiten Album.
