Die aufstebende Band Durand Jones & The Indications aus Indiana veröffetnlicht am 16. März die Deluxe Version ihre hoch gelobten selbstbetitelten Debüt Albums via Dead Oceans/Colemine Revords. Das Album, das ursprünglich 2016 veröffentlicht wurde, erhielt viel Aufmerksamkeit in der Amerikanischen Presse. So skandierte The Philadelphia Inquirer: "Smartly restrained music steeped in the Deep South", Paste Magazin meinte über das Album: "Witch a tingling rasp that screams James Brown and coos Otis Redding, Jones simpley has to be heard to be believed on these vintage R&B pleas." und Detriot Metro Times schlussfolgerte: "Modern soul that pulls with a much power as Lee Fields and Charles Bradley."

Die Band selbst über das Album: "Three years ago we spent every Sunday in our basemant with a 4-track tape machine and a goal: record an album inspired by not only the ubiquitous titans of soul music but also the should-have-beens and the never-weres. With that modest target in mind, we released the record and booked one show marking the occasion. The reception we saw was both humbling and invigorating, and what started as a recording project, became a touring unit with larger aspirations."

Das Album in der Deluxe Version beinhaltet Duran Hones and The Indications Live Vol. 1 digital und die LP ist aus transparentem, roten Vinyl. Zum Album wird die Band dieses Jahr ausgiebig auf Tour gehen. So spielen sie zum Beispiel bei SXSW und dem Great Escape. Aber auch Köln und Berlin stehen im Mai auf dem Plan.
