Independent Music Exchange 2.0 (IndieRe)

Das Projekt Independent Radio Exchange (IndieRe) zielt darauf ab, die unerkannte lokale Indie- und urbane Musikproduktion in mehreren europäischen Ländern zu fördern, um die grenzüberschreitende Mobilität kreativer Musik zu erhöhen und die Möglichkeiten der Kulturakteure für einen langfristigen interkulturellen Austausch zu verbessern. Radiostationen aus acht europäischen Ländern sind Projektpartner:

  • Radio Študent Ljubljana, Slowenien
  • Radio Campus France, Frankreich
  • EMA- RTV Sevilla, Spanien
  • Near FM Dublin, Irland
  • Civil Radio Budapest, Ungarn
  • Radio Helsinki Graz, Österreich
  • Radio CORAX, Deutschland

Ziel ist es, das Medium Radio als primären Verbreitungskanal für die Förderung unbekannter lokaler europäischer Musik zu nutzen, um so die übersättigten Mainstream-Kanäle für den Musikvertrieb und -konsum zu umgehen.

In the 50th edition of IndieRe we take you on a ride through the exciting music of Germany’s alternative and independent scene, we’ve collected a truckload of current releases for you. We start with an interview and two songs from the dream pop duo She Owl about their new record Invisible Heart, continue with punk, spiced up with delight effects by Splizz and Sharizza. From here we take a turn to electronic, wavy and funky music by Tomy Suil and Zouj, at this point we make a little stop to invent our category called »fesch« to show you the German pop artist Nand with his song Dachlatte....

In the 49th episode of IndieRe broadcast edited by Radio Student from Zagreb we'll present some fresh releases by well-known members of Zagreb alternative scene but we will also showcase a few artists currently at the very beginning of their musical path. In der aktuellen Ausgabe von IndieRe stellen Rafa Sánchez und Sonia Morales zusammen mit der Technikerin Nuria González einen Teil der andalusischen Indie- und Underground-Szene vor. Sie beginnen mit der Punkband La URSS, dem spanischen japanischen Rapper Icy Amane und dem Elektronikkünstler Atk Epop. Sie interviewen den LGBTQ-Aktivisten Álvaro Romero vom Flamenco-Electronica-Duo RomeroMartín, den nicht-binären Queer-Punk Genderlexx und die Alternative-Pop-Band Airbag. Vorstellt werden zudem Narco, eine Band, die Metal, Hardcore, Elektronik und Hip-Hop mischt und die Rockgruppe Coyote Zora.

In the new IndieRE edition Lilly from Radio Helsinki is showcasing the best of the independent music scene in Graz/Austria, including music from Catastrophy, DEATHDEATHDEATH ft. Nichi Mlebom, The ZEW, FARCE, Sakura, Jayden, Red Gaze, Monsterheart and Paul&Pets. The show features interviews with musicians, gives an insight into Austria’s music scene and promotes the importance of supporting local subcultural communities. Tune in for an eclectic mix of dreamy, distored soundspaces, lo-fi punk, and socially critical content.

The next Episode of the European project „Independent Radio Exchange“ (IndieRE) comes from Civil Radio Budapest. It is hosted by Ákos Cserháti and Dániel Kemény and presents music of Beton.Hofi, one of the newest face of the Hungarian underground, the band Carson Coma, with whom we also have a short interview, Azahriah, Ivan & The Parazol, Blahalouisiana, Anna and the Barbies, Aranyakkord, the Galaxies, Veronika Harcsa and Bálint Gyémánt.
